Textiles

Debbie's approach to her textile work is broad, open and eclectic. She uses a variety of techniques, some quite unconventional, and a good deal of persistence to obtain the specific result she requires. This, combined with a particularly strong eye for exciting and unusual combinations of colour, texture and pattern, produces a wide range of interesting outcomes. These have so far included framed textile art, as well as fabrics for fashion and interiors. The latter have been made up into finished garments and accessories of Debbie's own design and soft furnishings such as cushions and table runners.
